Construction Week
The 2007 Construction Week was a great success with events held in Derbyshire and Dorchester.
Dorset Skills Festival was held at Kingston Maurwood College on 10th, 11th and 12th October and was attended by some 7,000 pupils from around 40 schools. Many careers teachers took information and as a result we were invited to Corfe School in Dorchester to do a presentation to over 380 students and their parents about the industry and career opportunities, as well as the formation and aim of the NSITG.
The second event was held at Pride Park Football Stadium in Derby on 15-16 October and this had some 15,000 visitors over the two days and evenings.
